This post deals with the general issue of recalling an email.
First we need to know what does recall an email message means ?
Recalling an email message means you want to update the sent email with
new email message or you want to delete the sent email from receiver's
inbox.
Both of above listed features are possible if and only if receiver has not read the email.
Once the receiver has read/open your email , you can't recall it.

So here is the step by step procedure of how to recall an email in gmail.
Step 1: Log into your gmail account.
Step 2: click on the gear(Settings)icon of your gmail account.Click settings.
step 3: Go the Labs tab.
step 4: Search for Undo Send in search box.
Step 5: Enable undo send.
Step 6: Click Save Changes
